No. No, it is not shocking. And even if it was, I will never know because your click bait site is so painful to load and read that I will be lucky to get past page two before swearing off your site forever...

lol that's how I feel too. I can sorta deal with the click baity headlines, the part I can't deal with is how horribly designed most of those sites are. If you have some stupid list of crap then put it all on one page, and quit it with the stupid grey out screens bullcrap. Those things make me rage.

Wait, so you don't use the internet? Because you just described basically every website on the internet any more.

Sadly the truth, I hate having to even google for anything now days because 90% of sites you land on are all filled with annoying javascript garbage. Noscript only goes so far, considering most sites now don't even load at all without letting through like 30 domains. I don't even get why people code this way, it's actually more work than making a clean easy to browse site. You can still put ads without being annoying. Most of these sites arn't even annoying because of the ads, they're just annoying because of the overall terrible design.

Yeah its a mess. They do it because they're doing more than just serving you ads, they're serving the info about what you do to themselves and other companies. Plus they can actually find out some info if you enable it (like if you're logged into Facebook, then bam easy for them to link things and/or get you to share and stuff).

When I see sites like that I basically just leave. If I can't enable their base domain and maybe 2 others (related, or that make sense, like if they embed vimeo or Youtube or something) to get what I clicked their site for then they're not worth the bother.

You got me to click. Rick Rolling still in effect. Problem is Youtube ad ruins the fun because never even got to the song.

Haha, I wish Youtube would exempt that video from ads. Or at let some of the song play first.
