I'd still recommend getting a 1000' foot roll for like 50 bucks from home depot or something and buying some connectors and a crimper... lifetime supply plus enough to make some cables and sell them to friends and whatnot for a huge profit :)

Or go to a construction site for some high-tech company and take their leftovers.

Hmm... when I try to check out it says there is a minimum order of 8 dollars so you need to buy a minimum of 6 cables (5 cables is 5 cents short),

8 dollar minimum? That's silly ... well it is cheap but I don't know too many people who'll need 6 or more cables in their homes.

shipping is $5.88 for the 6 cables, not so hot anymore!
Also on 100 cables shipping is $25.59 not bad if you need 100 of em'

Making your own cable isn't exactly ENTIRELY cheap either. Crimpers are pretty expensive, $25 - $50 for the ones i see everywhere. Anyone find cheaper crimpers? the cable is cheap though. I think everyone should get a wireless LAN going. Wireless LAN cards are like 100 bucks!

I bought a crimper from them a while back for ~$18 i believe, when I wired my frat house.

Comcat has good prices and they deliver quickly.
