There is a guy on Ebay, that has 7 left for $29.99 shipped and he also includes a set of batteries. Just do a search for Sting Sword and it should be near the last page of listings. Hope this helps out someone who didn't get to rape TRUS.

There were 4 at my store, I picked up 3 of them. 1 for me, and 2 left over for any ATers who didn't get one.
Edit: Ok sold the extra two to fellow ATs for essentially my cost plus shipping. So sorry anyone else 🙁
 
Scored 4 @ Santa Rosa today. Man are they sweet ! One for me ; the others for my LOTR cogeek buds. I'm debating taking mine to the lineup tonite at the Revenge of the Sith premiere @ midnight. There will no doubt be some fans wielding light sabers in line. Lets see: Sting vs a lightsaber. Elven magic vs The Force. Any guess who'll win ?😀

Went to two stores in the metro Detroit area (Lakeside and Madison Heights) and they are all out. I'd appreciate it if someone could sell me one if they bought extra ones or there are still some at other stores. I could pay by paypal right away.

Sweet! I was wondering where I'd find batts and I didn't want to pay a bunch for them.

I didn't see the 1/5A size on the page that guy links too unfortunately though 🙁 But he says the 1/3A will work about as good and they do have that one.



BTW, one caution, open the box on the floor, or something like that. There's the plastic stand in the bottom of the styrafoam and it always falls out when you pull the thing out. Its light plastic and probably wouldn't be harmed even falling onto concrete, but just in case...

If you can't find one @ TRU , goto Ebay and search for item #6533739291
As of now he has 34 left and it will only cost you $29.99 shipped including a brand new set of batteries. I ordered mine on Tuesday and it arrived today via UPS.

Only thing is, try finding 1/5A NiMH batteries, if you do, tell me where, I can't find em anyplace....🙁

 
I orders some lithium 123s to hold me over til I can find or make the rechargeable kind. They came today so I installed them in my Sting Sword.....the "clang" sounds are a little low and lame, but the blue "orc" effect is wicked cool....🙂

Does anyone get loud sounds out of this thing?
