I would be very curious to pit this monster P4 against two mild-mannered, non-overclocked Opteron 248s.The money spent on CPUs + mobo is equal, I'd bet. AND the Opterons don't need Hydrogen-Phase-Coupled Mother of God Cooling. Just good old HSFs.

Its a copper heatpipe, but Ill bet Id do better with phase change - seriously thinking about it.

Oh and to everyone else - I buy and sell chips all the time when I get the opportunity. And I paid alot less then $900.
What Id like to do is when a good LGA775 board comes out from MSI, I will get a 775 3.4EE (already available) and keep that alot longer or at least until I can get an unlocked one.
