If you are a graphics designer, coder... you might want a higher vertical resolution.and what about working?
thank you for your concern, yes i am looking at pavilions. so what is your dv7t model and how is its performance with games ?
so what is your video card?I game on a 15.6" screen, 1366x768.
Absolutely fine. As a bonus, you get decent fps even with weaker cards.
1080p on a laptop you need to have a Desktop GTX 460+ Class video card.
and what kind of games you play and how much FPS you got?GT 540M. It's a dell laptop.
nice information ,how much FPS u got?Get the 1080p. I had a DV7t with a 6770M and 1080p, and I could still game at 1080p. BF3 on Med w/no AA, MW2/3 maxed, Skyrim medium/high. Also, not only the resolution, but the quality of the the 1080p screen is vastly superior to the 768p screen on the DV6, I've seen both screens next to eachother in person.
Mostly Crysis 2, at about 27 FPS (Advanced). Good enough for Campaign, though.and what kind of games you play and how much FPS you got?
