I understand what your saying ,they have been overshadowed to a degree ,but they certainly haven't been forgotten.Especially when the lost member was/is an active forum member ,for example many people have noticed & are puzzled & saddened by minendo's departure.
I think the longer standing & more active forum members tend to generate more response if they leave even if they don't have huge amounts of WUs.
But its quite natural that a big member leaving generates the 'headline news' threads😉

And yeah I've also noticed that 'smaller' members have left recently🙁

This is exactly the reason that I am part of this TeAm. From the day that I joined it has always been "every work unit counts". I have never seen anyone say "I have more than you" in a way to try to hurt someone. The new guy is totally supported even if he asks a question that has been asked a thousand times before.

I have been part of the TeAm for about eight months. Seems like years. I would read the forum posts everyday to see what was happening. I just started posting more on the forum only recently. I was always apprehensive to say the wrong thing. But unlike other forums if someone says something wrong it turns out to be like a family joke. Not a flame session.

I would just like to say great work to the leaders and each person on the TeAm! Thanks for making my life just a little more interesting.

I am not sure what is going on with our account. I am trying to check on it now. I just got back from a two month cruise on Friday and this is my welcome home present? GEEZ! Ok Well I have our account password written down but it is in Virginia. I am currently in California and will be on vacation until next week. I will try to sort it out between now and then. Don't worry guys WE WILL BE BACK!!!! Smoke, If you could go ahead and see about checking on the hijack possibilities.

I just sent an email response to you. We are going to definitely need your Seti Password in order for Dr. Anderson to help us out.

Great hearing from you for there has been a lot of consternation on the TeAm as you can well imagine. We actually fell behind BBR at one point but due to the wonderful return of SNC we were able to regain our lead ... but not by much. BBR has been hinting all along that they have a surprise in store for us at the end. So a small lead will probably not hold on to 5th.

Looking forward to your next report. 🙂

David Anderson will be in Oxford atleast on Friday, and apparently be there for "a few weeks"...
