1366 x 768p

So I have a Zenith 50'' Plasma (nothing fancy)
1366 x 768p is the max using hdmi (I had the res up higher but part of the screen was cut off 🙁 0
today I hooked everything up to the tv (my pos in sig)

and im currently using 1024 x 768 resolutin via dvi to hdmi

but I noticed all my resolutions choices are gone except for the basic res! (800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024,1600x1200) before on a regular crt computer monitor it had lot's of choices. now its only 4 WTF???

is there something im doing wrong? or do I need to use ultility to change the res?

You should be able to add a custom resolution, well at least with an nvidia card you can and I'm sure ATI too.

you'll have overscan no matter what. dig into the overscan compensation to tweak a resolution just smaller than the native res of the screen

I'd try 1280x720, which is probably what the display is designed to display.

I do have a nvidia card (well not the best lol a GF 6200)
where do you add custom resolutions at? I cant find it in any of the nvidia's menus

(I checked in nview , purevideo , and windows display propeties, I cant find it 🙁 )

my plasma is 1024x768 so i don't have any probs with my 6800gt, but im pretty sure it still offers the other resolutions. maybe update your drivers..?

ok I figured out how to put in custom resolutions
but it's comming out with a huge overscan problem @1366 x 768

so far I can use 800x600, 1024x768, and 1176 x 664 (with out overscan problem)

is there any other custom resolutions I can use?

display proreties, advanced, gf6200, nview display settings, device settings, treat device as hdtv, hdtv overscan config
