I use CoolMon to provide the system stats you see on the bottom-left of the screen (yellow text). 🙂

Bleh. Don't get me wrong, all I run is x86, but OS X is a beautiful OS. I used to hate apple too, for no apparent reason, until I got one (free). But I'm a *nix fanboi so maybe thats why ;D

So it's running at like 1/30th the speed. Why bother?

Dude, that's just like a real mac runs OSX.

Have you even tried OS X?

Yup, at a friend's in basement recording studio... Pretty neat setup, god only knows why he thinks he needs to use macs. I couldn't figure out how to use the thing for even basic tasks after an hour of playing with it. He really hates PCs, I really hate macs. But we're still good friends. He doesn't use the goofy one button mice though. 😛

Couldn't figure out how to use OS X? It's pretty much elementary. What software did he use? ProTools is pretty much the same thing on XP and OS X.
