Yup, at a friend's in basement recording studio... Pretty neat setup, god only knows why he thinks he needs to use macs. I couldn't figure out how to use the thing for even basic tasks after an hour of playing with it. He really hates PCs, I really hate macs. But we're still good friends. He doesn't use the goofy one button mice though. :p
Couldn't figure out how to use OS X? It's pretty much elementary. What software did he use? ProTools is pretty much the same thing on XP and OS X.[/quote]

Things kept dissappearing and I couldn't find them... The crazy command bar kept changing... HULK SMASH!!!

neat. I'm going to have to check that out... I've been considering making the move over to OSX for a few months, but didn't want to invest in buying a Mac before trying it out in some real-life situations.

Why would you move to OSX on a non-Mac? I really want to understand but I just don't see a reason. Unless of course some small groups think this is...uhhh....'cool'.

The most confusing things going from Windows->OS X are:

  1. Closing a window does not close the app
  2. ALT-TAB cycles through apps, not windows
  3. The global menubar
  4. The finder
