I have an Intel SE440BX-2 Motherboard with a PII 350 in it. Intel's processor support specs for this board state it will handle up to a PIII 600/100MHz/512K. Id like to upgrade to a PIII 600 but these Katami chips with a 100MHz FSB are few and far between, not to mention expensive.

Will a PIII 600B run on this board at 100MHz without any ill effects? They're easier to find and cheaper.

Yes it should run but since you'll be at 4.5X100 instead of the 4.5x133(600) your cpu will run at 450mhz on the 100mhz fsb.
