I put a Knoppix CD is his computer and rebooted. Knoppix is a self contained copy of Linux that runs completely off the CDROM drive without affecting his computer at all. It looks and acts like (and is) a full GUI Linux operating system.
 
wow those are some mean things. a shortcut to shutdown in his startup? wow.

On a friend of mine's machine i did the screenshot of his desktop. it took him about 3 hours to figure out. heh and he has a degree in computer science!

Oh yeah, what's the website that ejects your cdtray? I wonder if that would work as an active desktop?
 
if he leaves the computer on for extended periods of time, just add a screen saver that kicks on after 2-3 hours and password protect it... that should piss him off

you can also pop off the m and n keys and switch em
 
i have an old executable file that when ran brings up a directory browser, selects C: and deletes
the confirm delete box comes up, but before you can click CANCEL it starts deleting EVERYTHING

after a minute of deleting it shows a screen saying it was a joke - but when i first got it (about 7 years ago) i totally flipped
