Venice, Epox EP-9nDA3+, Cor Value RAM 2x512 1T 2.5, 3, 3, 7.

RAM was stable at those settings to 215. (mem86tested pi tested)
CPU is stable to 2.5Ghz. (pi tested, prime95 tested)

Theoretical Optimum:
HTT 313;
CPU 2.504Ghz
HTT Multi 3.0
CPU Multi 8.0
Mem 192.6Mhz [corrected] @ said timeings

Right? Am i missing something? (the calc I use seems to underbid the actual RAM mhz but i have plunty of overhead!)

What the hell is with Venice and the 133 divider? Is this a common problem? Across what other chips/motherboards? Is this just a RAM issue? Its running fine at 166 now at near those speed and 212Mhz? (but 160Mhz less CPU, not to mention less HTT Freq.

Imput please. =)

uh, what exactly is your problem? :confused:

You may be getting the divider formula wrong, which is a common error. You have to multiply the HTT speed by (CPU multiplier) / ceiling(CPU multiplier / divider ratio) to get the memory speed.

I think I was pretty clear...hmm...

I'll try and summerize; My setup hates the 133Mhz (2:3) RAM divider. Why.

200Mhz = 1:1
166Mhz = 5:6
133Mhz = 2:3
100Mhz = 1:2

What do you mean? I'm still not sure what your issue is. The memory speed in your "theoretical optimum" should come out to around 192mhz, not 209mhz.

Okay so 192. "..." Wouldent you think it would run at 192 if the ram was stable to 215? Becuase its running at 212 now. It will not boot up at 2:3 divider even though the numbers are underclocked from what was stable.
