13 years of toenail clippings

Dang. I thought maybe he would have put a reasonable price, but $1000? No way.

I maybe would have gone for $1/lb + shipping.

36 pounds of his own toenails... in 13 years?? I doubt that you'd generate much more than a pound of nail clippings in an entire lifetime.

That show Oddities on the Science channel has a girl that made jewelry out of nail clippings. Maybe I should start saving mine.

44# * 80% = 35.2#
35.2# / 13 yrs = 2.7# per year
2.7# / 52 weeks = .05# or .83 ounces per week.
Just may be doable if you're the wolfman. 😀

First thought: Aaahh!!! Real Monsters!

Anyone else? 😀

And saved, in case it gets flagged/removed:

I'm going to email him.

Edit: I emailed him. Here is the email, if anyone cares:

Greetings fellow humanoid,

I stumbled across your toenail clippings classified on Craigslist, and I have a few questions for you:

1. In what condition would you describe your toenails?

2. At what rate do your toenails grow on average (please specify in half inches per 17.3 hours)?

3. On average, how often do you trim your toenails? Weekly? Bi-weekly? Monthly? Bi-Monthly? Annually? Every decade? Ever century? Every millennium? Etc.

4. What is the average weight of each toenail clipping after being dipped in box of horse bone shavings?

I would very much appreciate it if you could answer my inquiries. These toenail clippings will make fine fuel for my time machine!

Salame!

Reminds me of my first manager job in IT. When I moved into my new cubicle I crawled under the desk to hook up my PC and there were fingernail clippings all over the carpet. Apparently the previous manager would clip his nails under the desk thinking they were going into the trash can. Talk about gross. I called the building cleanup people to take care of it before I would go under there again.
