Everything else aside, I just can't believe that your mother's family said that stuff. Man, how callous.

yawn.

Is it really boring? Woaw.. Never got that reaction.. Kids in my class were either crying or pissed.. I guess reading it out loud in person is different.. And college educated kids might have a different reaction than you guys 😉

I don't see what's so offensive about it. A lot of people have moments where they wonder "Where the hell is God, and what the hell is he thinking?"

It's a natural occurrence for anyone who has even a hint of religion in them. I've felt those same emotions many times.

I go to a school with a lot of Orthodox Jewish kids and Baptists..Relgion is a very sensitive topic there.

My analysis:

The part of the story that gives it away as a fairy tale was when the hospital staff claimed that passing around a dead baby was an "important part of the healing process". I don't know of any hospital with the authority to make such a claim.

It's 100% authentic..

I would have left out the part about the altar boy. I find it strange that the first thing in your list of stuff the child would never be able to do is play a video game.

That's a part of life. Some people are lucky, some aren't. It happens. I don't see how that paper is offensive.

The thing about catholic priests really pissed some people off as did the thing about corruption in the church...

i think its a valid question: If there is a god why would he/she be such a bastard baby killing fvck? And how can any sane person try to rationalize infantacide, especially by a "supreme being"?

How can it piss them off when it's true?

That's sad, man.

I'm a Christian, but I don't go to church for reasons like this. I have a personal relationship with God.
