1988 Honda Accord Sedan LXi back in '99 - senior year of HS. Perfect condition then except for some minor paint issues. Developed problems during the good 4 years I had with it.

I can't answer the poll since there is no proper choice for me. The first car that I had complete access to was a 1971 VW Super Beetle Super Vee in 1979 but it was far from a shitbox. I loved that car and it was awesome to drive. The first car I ever purchased was a 1966 Candyapple Red Mustang Coupe that was bought at the end of summer 1979 with the money I had earned with the intent on buying a car. I spent the next 2 years restoring the Mustang, all the time driving the VW, and completed the pony a few weeks before I left for college.....driving the Mustang packed to the gills.

the first car that i've had to myself was a lease 2000 Acura Integra LS.

got my first car recently for roughly $1000, which i am paying back to dad over time. it's an '87 corolla sr5 (ae85 drivetrain in ae86 body🙁). has some rust spots that need fixing, and the tranny is on its way out, but i'm doing the work on the car myself, so i see it as a learning experience.
