Good deal. However, with most system having only two memory slots, I hate to invest in a small 128MB DIMM.
 
Nice deal! Ordered 3.... will be quite useful with smaller budget systems... bump the 512 up to 640, or bump the 256 up to 384.

By the way, if you want the free headset, you have to add it into your cart -- it doesn't just show up automatically like the free shipping will.

I forgot, like a moron, so I've emailed them and asked them to add it in for me. That ought to be a good test of their customer service abilities.

Does the free shipping show up after you have put all your CC info in? Otherwise I still see shipping charges even at 50.00 and more.
 
honestly, in today's time and age, 128MB ram is just a waste of a slot. given that most mobos come w/ 2-3 slots, that's limiting you to 256MB which is barely enough to run XP.

I'm planning on throwing 2 of them in a mobo that will sit inside my cocktail cabinet and run MAME only. Plenty of RAM for that... any more would be a waste.
 
Has anyone had any luck with these guys? I've emailed them 4 times enquiring @ my order, no reply. The order for 2 X 512Mb sticks shows as being sent to warehouse for completion. It's been that way since the 25th. :disgust:
 
I just emailed them one more time & told them if I didn't get a reply (after 4 tries) I was going to cancel Credit Card through the bank
 
Yeah, you can get some good deals at this place, but you usually have to wait a while to get it. It took a long time for my order to come in.
 
I bought some of this, but now that 512 is going down below $40, the "bargain" is gone. Oh well. More spare parts lying around. 🙂_
