It was developed by the military to be applied on missle hulls I believe. It explains the lame name at least. 🙂

And when I was in the navy we never used it due to the corrosive nature of it.

Dr. Drew says that Vaseline will deteriorate a condom. He suggests a water-based lube.

If WD-40 is such a bad name, I can only wonder how people feel about the name of the C programming language?
