Just thought I'd post this since it seemed to me to be a pretty decent deal.

128meg PC133 cas2 ram for 35 bucks. 5 bucks for shipping regardless of quantity ordered.


This ram is GUARANTEED to work and if it fails then its guaranteed by their lifetime replacement warranty. So it doesnt seem to be a bad deal to me :) I've ordered some.Link Here

The HP laptop takes SODimms according to crucial.com memory finder so that would be a NO to you question.

Is that Cas 3 "2" 3??

Or anyone know if it is true cas "2/2/2"?

From what I can tell...
Its not really true CAS "2/2/2".
Too many have ordered this and could not run at cas 222.

Try it, if all else fails just push for a refund.

I haven't got to worry about it since i'll only be using it for PC100 cas2 since im too cheap to upgrade to a better pc yet. Maybe after vacation next month :)

Why would I go through all that aggravation when I could just buy from elsewhere and get what I paid for to begin with. Only $10-$20 difference from the better sources, and no grief. This cat needs someone to clean his clock... and teach him to knock off with the bullshiznit advertising. The 80's are over. No one has time for the hype crap, and sorry service.

Well, I ordered a chip from them awhile back (256MB) they said was guaranteed to work at CAS2. Well I got it and it didn't post CAS2, and when I went into the BIOS to change the setting, it would not boot up at that rating. Had to set it back down to CAS3. So don't be suckered into low prices, just stick with crucial, and you can't go wrong.

I've got 7 sticks of it from them, run them all @ cas2 with no problems. They are running on: an Abit KT7-Raid, Abit BP6, Abit BE6-II, and a Soto Dual proc MB, all run fine, never had any problems.

Lifetime warranty from anyone but the actual Manufacturer = Warranty is in effect as long as the reseller is in business. Thankfully, memory is usually Go/NoGo ...

See...... that's the prob.

There are guys/gals out there that think they are running at CAS 222 when they are not.
They are running at CAS 323, 233, 332.

You should not be buying ram sold as CAS 2, if it actually is just CAS 3. If the ram does not run at CAS 222 it is not CAS 2 ram. It is CAS 3 ram. Unless you really don't care.

I don't like vendors advertising they are selling CAS 2 when actually they are selling CAS 3 that has one of the timings hitting a 2.

CAS 2 ram runs at CAS 222, anything else is just CAS 3..... period.

Lifetime Replacement Warranty = 1year warranty as this company will prob be going out of business within the next year, with all the other online stores.
