128-bit 9800 Pro?

Might make 9800Pro's (even though not proper ones) even more affordable (like true mid range price point).

I couldn't find any benchies yet 🙁, but if this card exists (assuming it has 8 pipes) it will most likely be performing somewhere between a 9800SE and a full 9800 Pro, and I think it's performance should be closer to a 9800SE than a 9800 Pro.

Great

Guess we needed another card added into the mix to create more confusion.

Yeah, That is a 9700 non pro

😀

9700 non pro has 256 bit .That is not a 9700np, as they have a 256bus and BGA mem. That card is noting more than a terribly castrated (because of slow TSOP mem chips) 9800se. What are they 6ns mem?

If it's got 8 pipes, I guess the 9500pro has been reincarnated. 😀

IIRC it was the non-pro version that could softmod into a higher performing card.

oh nm my mistake

thought you meant softmod when you mentioned 8 pipes and 9500 Pro when now I assume you mean 128-bit 9800 Pro = 9500 Pro in terms of performance and/or architecture.
