Straight from Microsoft Word Help(Word 2000):

Set the default font
If your document already contains text formatted with the properties you want to use, select that text.

On the Format menu, click Font.

Select the options you want to apply to the default font. If you selected text in step 1, the properties you want will appear in the dialog box.
For Help on an option, click the question mark , and then click the option.

Click Default.
Any new document you open will use the font settings you selected.

Times sucks donkey balls.

I'm an Arial man myself.
Verdana is nice too.

Edit: Yeah, Tahoma is good as well.

Hmmm, that gives me an idea.
A coworker of mine often leaves his machine unlocked.
Muwahahahahahaha.

I like Verdana however when it is printed it doesn't look as nice as it does on screen. I think Arial and Courier New is nice.

 new prank to play on computer stupid friends

And the best part is that because they can just change the font, they won't take the time to figure out how to change the default. So instead of a big prank that is quickly over, it will continue to be a minor irritation to them that you can enjoy for a long time.
