My shoes never last 3 years expecially sneakers. Unless you leave them in your closet I dont know how they would last taht long.

I usually purchase nikes and reeboks after a year I replace or after a year and a half. By then they usually hurt to wear pretty worn out and the grips on the bottom are diminished i too some occasional activity nothing much mostly light walking.

I've had my Vans($50) for almost a year now and they aren't worn down, and the tread is fine. I wear them about three times a week.

My previous shoes, Fila Lasted two years and I only paid $20 for them at Just for Feet.

$50 is the most I would ever spend on clothing of any type, pants, shoes, shirts whatever.

Caterpillar woork boots-$45 on sale at Meijer, purchased twice a year, worn everyday through all kinds of hell and still look decent. They would last longer but I usually end up burning the stiches out of them.

My Sneakers normally run between $100 - $125. Finding a pair of sneakers I like and also in a size 12 is not the easiest thing in the world to do.

Who cares about price? if you like the shoe then buy it is my philosophy. Besides, if you want a good golf shoe you gotta pay the money for those nice $200 footjoy shoes :)
