It's made by ford, isn't that enough?

No. You are a moron.

RWD / Poor handling, not to mention boxy and overall bleak design. They moved away from what made them THE car in America during the 60's/70's.

Why don't you "educate" me on what is so great about a present-model mustang?

It says it's not street legal. Why people are comparing it to a Ford GT is beyond me. Sounds like a race ready car. Would you honestly convert a Ford GT to a non-street legal racecar?

Did you miss the part where the new Mustang bested the BMW M3, Porsche 911, and others in non-linear races?

I'm curious as to what made them THE car in America during the 60's/70's...

No, but it does come with all recall notice letters already placed in the glove box for you

Wow. People just totally skip the fact that it's not for street use so they keep comparing it to road cars. 😕

which makes it even less worthy of its price tag.

Why becuase its not a Japanese car or European.

I'd rather have a C6 Z06... two of them.

I bet it'll outperform it on the race track too, and its street legal.

No it wouldn't because the zo6 wouldn't be allowed on the track sense its not legal for this kind of racing.

results think any of the other race cars in the mustang's class can be bought for $125k? Maybe the 350z but they aren't competitive. The mustang is capable of winning every time it goes out and has most of the races sofar.

You might be able to build one that's faster...in a straight line. Ford has at least some R&D sunk into this car, how much do you think you'd have to spend to get a good all around track car that competes with Porshes and BMW's in the corners?

FR500C Results so far:
Daytona: 1st & 2nd
Santo Domingo: 2nd
California Speedway: 1st
Laguna Seca: 1st & 3rd
Watkins Glen: 2nd
Bowmanville (Mosport): 1st & 3rd

six figures and they left a 5.0 in it? they should have spent 5 grand more and put a stroked 351W in there

The motor has to have some rev-ability to it with a wide powerband, will a 351 hold power up to its redline? That's something a race-engine needs to maintain

dude you are about as clueless as listing XP Home in your sig.

You obviously are pissed you can't even pull off a test drive.

For the record buying something Ford only made 25 of will pay off in 10-20 years.
