Even cart pushers at our "local" market make upwards of $9/hr.

Man my first job was at a supermarket... I made $4.35 / hr. Worst.job.ever.

*edit* hard to believe that was just a little over ten years ago...

I worked for Kroger and made ok pay for a high school/college student. I could've gone to Albertsons and made $3 more/hr starting off. I chose to stay w/ Kroger cause....well, I'm not sure why...
