Congrats on getting off on your ticket? Having a 92 N/A 300Z does not mean you will pull on every CRX...that's one of the most popular cheap methods to a fast Honda, you should've known that.
 
should have shifted at redline every gear. also the n/a 300zx does about 15.5 in the quarter and 0-60 in around 7.5secs. him being behind you by a car length is still pretty slow so either the guy couldnt drive or didnt have many mods or both.
