I've got one of these blue LED Yate Loons....and it's quiet. Runs about 1600rpms, and when undervolted slightly, sounds the same as the low-speed Yate Loon (Nexus). This is a great fan for cheap bucks....

I had a pair of 120mm Coolermaster fans that were rated at 720RPM

Plug them in and without even adjusting anything they were completley inaudible..... But didn't move that much air. Enough to keep the case cool, but not much.

Mmm... I was just about to order some Nexus fans, but these are much cheaper. If you're right and undervolting these babies will result in Nexus-like performance, I might buy some...

I don't really care about the leds, as I don't have a side window.

Dude....don't waste much time.
isellsurplus.com showed only 24 in stock. 😱

I know, I've just ordered a couple. I hope they're real Yate Loons and not cheap imitations.

I'll run them at 7v, hopefully, I'll get the same noise levels as with the Nexus Yate Loons.

After clicking the "Buy" button and recieving my PayPal confirmation, I got this funny feeling that I've just wasted money... I can't find any reference to 120mm LED fans in Yate Loon's website, damn it.

Does this fan have RPM sensing?
