I just ordered five of them (before seeing this thread).

I have a client that needs an IDE/PATA HDD, for an older HP with XP on it.

I have a BNIB 500GB that I could sell to my client, but looking at Amazon.com, they are $180!

I figured I would buy 4-5 of these $10 refurb 120GB (five eggs, so far), and I would give my client a warranty, and if the refurb failed, I'll slap in another one for free.

Edit: Decided to use a SATA/IDE converter, and put a SATA drive into my client's machine.
So now I've got five refurb 120GB IDE drives I don't know what to do with. Oh well.

I bought a handful of similar drives for a RAID box, all failed one after another within a short period of time. Food for thought.
