primary HD is a 80GB WD cavier and the slave is a 120GB WD cavier. The slave is not seen as 120, but as 33. What happended and how do I fix this...using XP. Thanks, AG

Check the drive's jumpers again - some drives have a setting to limit the capacity to 32GB so that old systems can see the drive.

Installed everything from scratch and am running XP Pro with SP2...still 32GB on the 120GB drive. Jumpers look okay, but I'll pull them off and try again. Thanks, AG

did u ever figure this one out? i am having a similar prob with a 120gb diamondmax plus 9. cap limit jumper is not on, but bios sees this drive as 33gb. i'm thinking this is a hardware prob with the hd.

you must be thinking of FAT16. FAT32 can support new drives > 30GB. I second, third or fourth the the jumper on 32GB support of hard drive.
