Goto circuitcity.com, select weekly ad, find the WD drive (200, minus 110 in rebates). Sign up for an MSN wallet and use it to check out (another 20% off).

$200
- $110 rebates
- $40 MSN wallet cash
----------
$50 + tax (free shipping)

Ain't a bad price.

Western Digital 120GB 7200 RPM Internal EIDE Hard Drive.
Search for: WD1200BBRTL and it comes right up

WOAH!! Nice deal!

Edit: BTW, it seems that both rebates are offered from circuit city. If I am not wrong, people have had problems with them in the past.

Nice price even without the MSN wallet cash!

Question: is the MSN only good on one item, or could you load up?

You can also have two MSN wallets per household (as per their site), for a total of $200 in MSN cash.

Nice find slizor, thanks! But you might want to edit your title to note that the $50 is after rebates and $40 MSN Wallet Cash - some people don't like messing with that kind of stuff and will probably flame you for not including it in the title. Just an FYI - thanks again for the deal and welcome to AT!

what does it mean that you can have two msn wallets for household? is there a limit to how much cash back you can get, or can you use both msn wallets for one order and make $80 back on the hard drive?

I like circuit city rebates. If you don't receive your rebate within 8-10 weeks and it's their rebate, just bring your forms and receipts in and they will just give you cash. Happened to once a few years ago.

Good news from jwong1268 at FW boards:

OFFICEMAX starting 12/01/02 has the following

Western Digital 120GB 7200 RPM Hard Drive
Item # 2014-8555
$179.99 BEFORE REBATE

so next week, return to CC to get a pricematch and save another twenty bucks or so.

Yeah most of the FAR items went OOS as well. Maybe they'll restock after the dust clears tomorrow. Can you imagine the poor warehouse guys trying to fill orders this weekend?

word i got lucky

CC PM POLICY
Nothing's worse than paying too much. That's why we do everything in our power to make sure you don't pay a penny more than you should for ANYTHING you buy at Circuit City. If you've seen a lower price from a local store stocking the same item, even 30 days after your purchase, we want to know about it. Bring it to our attention, and we'll gladly refund 110% of the difference between our price and theirs.

after costco PM, drive == FREE

I have had the same experience trying to pricematch Costco since it's a "member's" club.

MSN wallet money only good at selected online sites after the first of the year, not cash back from what I read.

PM with CC is much more user friendly when compared to others.

costco is located direcly behind circuit city where i live and cc goes out of their way to keey "customers happy".

if the costco pm doesn't work, there's always the officemax pm ;p

How does PM work if I order the drive on-line to take advantage of MSN wallet?
