Hey, I got this same exact inflator. Just bought it a few days ago. Got it for $19.99. I needed it so I got it. But $17 something isn't so bad.

Downside to this is it take a little long to inflate the tire and well, my battery almost die. I didn't have the engine on and inflated a tire that was almost flat. I wish it have longer cable so I can go all the way around the car to check all my tires using that built in flash light. Another thing I notice is it vibrates too much. When I put on the ground it kinda bounces and move everywhere. :D

For emergency, this is decent. But if your car totally flat, just inflate it a little and drive to the nearest gas station with the pump to put more air in.

For those don't already have a tire repair kid, just go buy one. It's only $3 something. The damn guy at the gas station charge me $10. But I was in a hurry so I didn't stand around to fight with him. Else he might put a couple more holes in my tire. :D

Keep the engine on when inflating anything over a few psi. You'll not only prevent a possible battery drain, but it will inflate faster as your car's voltage jumps to 14 versus 12 or less when off.

Or, great for that blowup doll in your car that you use for, um...qualifying to be in the car pool lane--yeah, that's it, the car pool lane!

I have the CORDLESS one and it is awesome!

The tire on my car goes flat every other day. I can stop and put a few Lb. in during gas-up or whenever. This has saved me $3 on buying the tire repair kit. ;)

This is actually an awesome unit. My lawn tractor had a flat and it was WAAAyyyyyyyyy far from an outlet. This did the trick. You can also use it as a 12 volt battery to power your cell phone in an emergency if needed. It recharges at any 120v outlet OR in your car lighter outlet. It comes with inflation tools for your blow up chick and basketball. Also, ALL cords and tools store neatly in the unit. It has indicators to tell you the status of the battery charge.

I highly recommend this one ---- the only downside is no light.

You saved $3 until your tires finally gives up the ghost and blows out, bending your wheel rim and necessitating a new wheel.

Or, the tire finally gives up the ghost and blows out while going 60 on a crowded highway, and he gives up the ghost with it, along with the passengers of the car next to him.
