12 sticks of SDRAM in 1 MB?

I have 12 sticks of High Quality 128MB Registered ECC PC100 SDRAM. All of my boards have only 4 DIMMs. Is there a board out there with more slots, or is there an adapter to double them up? (I remember such a thing with 30 and 72 pin SIMMS) With SDRAM prices in free fall, I'd never get a quarter of what they were worth 2 months ago, so selling is a poor option.

I don't think an adapter like you are looking for is going to exist. I think the 30-pin to 72-pin adapter was made possible by the smaller pin count of the 30-pin SIMM compared to the 72-pin. Since there are no DIMM slots larger than 184 pins, those adapters probably do not exist. Also, you may want to make sure your motherboards can use the registered DIMMs since many require unbuffered ones.

No "SIMM Saver" for DIMMs. And that is probably a good thing. We had some in an old computer and it was the cause of more problems than what the thing was worth.
Just remember, the value of your RAM has gone down but so has teh cost of new RAM. Why not see if you can sell 2 128 meg sticks for the same cost a 256 meg. or 4 128 meg sticks for a 512 meg stick.

While the EDO/FPM RAM SIMM adapters did work (both 30->72 pin and 72x2->72), they did not work well.

They tended to be fine at 33 MHz (for 486s), but often were flaky at 66 MHz. Trying to design an adapter than works reliably at 100 MHz, and with the additional timing accuracy needed by SDRAM, is very difficult. Due to the high cost of design and small market, I don't think that anyone ever brought such a module to production.
