I would say 'NO' for the video cards... not included in the select categories on the back...

how about video cards? this sale does sound like something different, and being for only 3 hours maybe the selection of items will be larger than normal. however, we 'll never ever know unless the coupon is scanned by posted by someone.

It says on the back that the categores include:

home theatre $299 and up, digital cameras, digital camcorders, photo, film, printers, ink, paper, home office equipment, music, movies, and video games software and PC software, appliances, wireless phones and mobile electronics. Excludes new releases, Bose audio products, MartinLogan, REL, Primare, Sonusfaber, Tivoli, Vienna Acoustics, SpeakerCraft, Boston Avideo, DIRECTV, digital SLR cameras, Apple iPod, satellite radio service, cinema systems, video game hardware, pay-as-you-go wireless phones, Samsung HomePAD refrigerators, Maytag Neptune, Maytag Double Oven, Whirlpool Duet, Calypso washers, Senseon dryers, Polara ranges, GE Profile Harmony washers and dryers

Looks like video cards are good for the offer since it doesn't exclude it.

I work at the Bestbuy at King Of Prussia in Philly. If anybody needs a signature just come to the media department and any of us will do it since on Friday we're gonna have a raffle for the redeemed flyers to win something that I forgot :-/. And yea it's today between 6-9.

And I need to know an employee? Or can I just write an employee's name on there? Will they bother to ask?

Well I am going in and try to get a video card, IMO a video card is an accessory. :)

If that does not pan out then 12% all games movies and music sound good...Ill probably find something I like.

My BB was giving out these flyers at the door.

12% off video cards but not the 20% which was on accessories and open box items.

If it needs an employee name, just walk around the store and get a name off someone's name badge and write it in.

Well I am going for a Geforce 6800 GT , my Best Buy has 4 or 5 in stock @ $399 each..I am going to try for one for 20% off or $320 + tx.

I got my flyer by asking CS for one, they had a stack and gave me one and signed it...the person though video cards might be 20% off and he at least suggested I come in and try to get one for 20% off so I will. :)

I will ... though I am kind of having second thoughts ..$320 + tx is still almost $350.

I really be happier with myself if I spend under $200 for a card..I think I am going to try for a 6800 OC instead which is already on sale for $249 ..less 20% is $200 :) (yeah its a super long shot though!)

I got my 6800OC video card using the Freinds and Family coupon. $225 bucks for something priced at $299 in their ad. Not bad!

I'm not sure if there will be more of these Freind and Family deals in other parts of the country still, or if they are done now. But if there are more you should be aware that different Best Buys seem to handle the coupons differently. A report above had them passed out at the door. The first BB I went to had them freely available at the checkout counters. The second BB I went to didn't have them out at all and I had to track down a freind who works there to give me one. Three BB, three different ways. So YMMV greatly.
