This is the third woman I've dated in the past to have had a child later on. (Incidentally not very long after it appears).

I find it amusing to watch as people who had such potential do stupid shit to fuck it all up, than wish I could help them somehow. Ah well :beer:

Anyone else notice a large majority of the woman you went to high school with had kids early? (I'm 23 btw).

All of my ex-g/fs are married and 2 of them even have kids. Fuck that, its way too early in life for that. I am 24.
 
Yes, hell one of my best friends had a kid at 16 when we were doing all sorts of stupid shit people that age do, he didn't find out until he was 20. Girl was 14 at the time of conception. I went to an inner city high school though so it isn't surprising.

Thats my outlook on it. 3 of my ex's have kids. None of them, none have a "father figure" or even the father. Two of them have kids by different guys.

Maybe I am just good at picking the winners 😉

I took it to mean that she's the 12th one who had a kid. Based on his sentence structure and the fact that he thinks you can have a child without a father, I'd say he never attended high school.

I'm 29 and after watching all my peers I honestly dont think anyone should consider marriage or children until they are at least 30.

I believe people are still growing as individuals until they are about 30 years of age and do themselves a great disservice by starting the family life too early. I dont see how it benefits the kids either.

Hmm, that would make sense in a odd sort of way, though I would wonder what the number of teenage pregnancies is as you go up an income type scale.

Obviously with such a massive amount of woman at my university who do not have children at ages 18-25 this can't be as common as we are making it out to seem.

My wife turned 28 this summer. We went to her 10th year HS reunion. I was pretty shocked at the number of people in her class that had 2 or 3 kids...some as old as 10.

We had a 6 month old (at the time) with no plans for another for quite a while.

There is something to be said about class/education levels. My wife didn't even finish up her schooling & residency until she was 25.
