I am building a DVR system for my company, and i'd like some advice..
We are planning on:
Abit IS7
2.4ghz Intel 800fsb
512MB Corsair DDR400
120gb Seagate
Rage 128 Pro Graphics card
My first question has to do with the graphics card.. I am pretty sure this is all we will need, but my friend said he would get a Geforce MX.
The computer will be showing 12 different camera windows, and to my knowledge .. the CPU takes care of those .. I am not sure if an Geforce MX chip or even the new
ATI chips would accelerate the 2D video displayed. Anyone know?
My second question... Does anyone have any experience building these .. If so, could you recommend video Input cards, or good companys to deal with. Or even good
software solutions. Any information would be much appreciated.
