12/15 Best Buy - iRiver IFP-120 (32mb) ONLY $24.99 after $55MIR

I don't see a rebate. Will it appear tomorrow as one or two?

Also, don't forget the 10% coupon for an extra $8 off = $17 AR.

what 10% off?!?!? please enlighten me! running out of money from xmas shopping this would be nice thing to get for my... self. 😀

Might be good as a voice recorder, but even then, I hope it gets more than 30 minutes record time otherwise it won't even get you through one meeting/class lecture.

I think I'd spend another $75 and get something worth a damn. Otherwise you'll just be buying what you really want a year from now anyway.

I think this would be really good for running/jogging.
30 minutes of music should suffice. Runs for 20 hours on 1 AA battery.
Plus that price is great.

But where is the rebate?

$25 is a great deal. unless you find the 64mb one for $50ish... else i'd rather just buy 2 of these for $25 ;D hehe.

plus it plays WMA files and using "advanced wma player" I could probably fit 32 songs on that puppy.

going snowboarding in a week, this will be great on the slopes 😀

I bought the 128mb with the FM tuner. THis player is so cool. I upgraded from the Nomad II and it blows the Nomad II away. However, I think the 32mb is to small at least you need a 64mb also it does not come with a tuner. Also, the FM tuner on the 128mb version is very good, the Nomad II tuner the stations were not that clear.

I just looked and holy cow, they have a 256 meg version for $199. I wish they had this when a bought mine. IRIVER makes awesome stuff!!

If you look at the title, the deal doesn't start until tomorrow. The rebate probably won't be posted on the web until after they post the new weekly ad (not long after midnight CST). So just hold on.

wut exactly is "advanced wma player"

it is a software that converts media files into .wma files. (file size of the wma file is proportional to the sound quality).
Converting an mp3 into wma with 20kbps bitrate and 22500Hz sample rate would cut the 5mb mp3 file into about 6-700kb. The sound quality is cr@ppier but it's very useful online if you wanted to have a song playing as the background to your webpage (not recommended).

hm... if you were willing to spend $199 for 256 mb... you should have saved and invested in an ipod instead.

i see i see....i usually convert my mp3's to 64 kbps, which usually slices the file size in half for my nomad IIc.

32MB is way too small. My Rio 500 came with 64MB internal and I thought that was too small. Thankfully, I was able to throw in a 128MB SM card.

picked up 3 in westminster, CA.
got 10% for two of them manager wouldn't give me on the third.
will post how these players perform once i get a chance to test it out

san diego best buy has plenty in stock. i picked up two. unfortunately i only had one of the 10% off coupons on me. but the good thing was that the guy who helped me out rung me up at the register where they keep the mp3 players and instead of getting 10% off i got $10 off. so i got an extra couple bucks off. i think i'm going to see if i can track down another 10% coupon and return the 2nd one and buy it again with the coupon.
