12/15-12/21 BB, XBOX bundle $199 w/3rd game free

Starting tomorrow BB is giving Star Wars Starfighter free with the XBOX bundle purchase at $199. I don't have the ad in front of me. I was browsing it in the Sunday paper at Walmart. Give ya a heads up.

I am so tempted to get an Xbox now. Any ideas if they will let you switch games? Is there any word if the Xbox is going to start including Halo like in Germany?

Man.... Why can't they throw in MGS, Splinter Cell or Shenmue to make it easier on me...

Including a free unattractive game is not a deal, that's the comment I got from people on the new XBox bundle (w/ 2 Sega games).
I will still go for ebgames with 20% MSN off, at least I can spend that $40 on something I like.

Yeah but it works on parents and other people who don't have a clue and think they are getting an amazing deal.

As for Shenmue, just the fact that it is available on X-box pushed me to finally buy the damn thing (even though I have the Dreamcast import).

Well, I went to Circuit City the other day picked up an Xbox I had ordered through MSN and the girl told me to pick out another game free. I assumed it was an advertised promotion.

Hmmm.....maybe they screwed up. 🙂

that jet set radio game is sick! i would get an xbox but i ended up getting a cube and I also couldnt get myself to spend another $200 on steel batallion... heh

I want an Xbox just for Sega GT. So to me that bundle is great. But I want it a little cheaper. Since I can't tell if Xbox will be around or not.

Quit talking about getting an Xbox and just do it.... I got one and while I only have a few games (Halo, DOA3, Buffy, Project Gotham Racing, Mech Assault, and others) I am glad I did it. I still buy all RTS and FPS games for the PC. But some games are better played with friends and family sitting around a big screen tv. Also, now i can play my relatives and friends that don't have a pc powerful enough to play online games (crappy sound, graphics, and cpu power).

After having played Halo, I'd consider buying an Xbox just to play that one game and would not have a singal regret (yes... Halo is that good!)

Ive got a dreamcast collecting dust here but seriously considering the Xbox as a christmas gift for myself. $160 after the 20% MSN dollars isnt a bad deal
