Well I just got back from best buy and they had DDR ram alright, but it was the 128 MB stick for $59.99!!!

They didn't even carry any 256MB sticks.

Oh well.

isn't there usually some sort of limit on the number of sticks of ram you could get at the sale price, and especially for the rebate?

I just got back from BB and bought the two 256mb sticks DDR ram. I paid $59.99 each.

It was first mentioned that $35. - $10.MIR= $25. As we all know the price of RAM has gone up. I hope the $35.00 is not the "REGULAR PRICE". Because we all know it isn't. Were buying it for the regular price of $59.99. If this is the case, then I believe BB can say there was a printing error on the flyer. If they call it a printing error, I believe legally they can adjust the regular price to reflect $59.99.

We may have to get to BB as soon as the store opens on the date of the sale BEFORE they discover that mistake. That's if they haven't already.

Is there a lawyer in the house? LOL

<< ATI Radeon 7500 (100-432001) $200-$50mir=$150 >>

Is that MIR good only for a BB purchase? A buddy of mine just bought one from somewhere else (retail box, from a military store so no sales tax and only around $160 or so).

MillionaireNextDoor, I have an HP scanner, I think 3300CSE or something like that. USB flatbed, new in box (missing UPC because of rebate). I'll be willing to sell it to you for cheap. I ended up with a spare because of these darn Hot Deals!

MillionaireNextDoor, can you move next door to me so that I can rob half your stash? LOL :p

Thanks a lot for the information regarding the speakers, seems like Logitech's buyout of Labtec has converted the infamous LCS-2424s to Logitech Z340s. Anybody else notice how the sub looks eerily similar to the Z560's? :)

Peace

Does anyone know if the REBATE on the Logitech speakers is good only at BESTBUY?
I am pretty sure they are the z340s thats the only ones that I see in stock at my b+m
I wanted to know about the rebate and if it is from Logitech because there is that 10off 50 coupon for office depot that will still be good next week. That would mean 49.99-10.00 coupon-10.00 rebate =29.99 for Z340's

I just ordered for store pickup. I'm probably going to have to return and rebuy at least one of the sticks with cash, so I qualify for the rebate on both. $25 + tax AR is a great price right now.

Just wondering though.. Why are people saying that this RAM is $60+ at Crucial now? I went through AT 15% off link and came up with $49.50 with free shipping per stick of DDR. Where are you coming up with the $60+ price?

About the Logitech speakers. I have the new Z560's that I picked up from Dell and it's perfectly obvious that Logitech got from Labtec what they wanted. The sub design is very similar between the new Logitech speakers and the Labtec's. I have the Labtec Pulse's also and the sub on the Pulse system looks like a mini Z560 sub. What's funny is that I have the same complaint with both the Logitech and Labtec speaker systems. Both put out too much boomy midbass for my taste and no way to really turn it down unless you go into your player software and cut the bass that way.

Anyway.. I hope this Crucial deal works out. I'm just about to build a system and was really cringing when I saw RAM prices going up. I basically didn't know what to do. Buy now and take a small hit? Hope that prices come back down after xmas or just don't build a DDR system.

Just wondering what?s up with the 10% off coupon? I see a few people mention it, but I don?t see a thread about it. Is it from BBY as an email or one of those preferred customer things? Thanks.

>>what happens when you buy windows XP Pro and get the free dvd, but then return windows XP pro...do they ask for the dvd back? <<

When I got XP Home upgrade when it first came out, BB had a free CD offer. When they rang it up they rang up $0.00 for the CD and $85.99 for XP, which was supposed to be $99.99. They took the value of the CD off XP's price. I guess that way if anyone takes back XP and tries to keep the CD, the refund is only $85.99 so you end up paying for the CD. They may do the same thing on this free DVD deal.

guys, so if we do the price match next week, how much are we getting back?

the ram price now is $59.99, and next week's price is $25 (35-10) after MIR. So, are we getting

1. 59.99-25=34.99 back

or

2. 59.99-35=24.99 (plus send in the $10 for rebate)??

samgoody, it's going to be $35 - (10MIR).....remeber to get a receipt dated on the day that you pricematch....

Calculation:

Price before Sunday: $59.99

Price After Sunday: $34.99
Rebate on Sunday(and continuing): $-10
Price After PM and Rebate: $24.99 even better than the old Crucial prices...(Crucial used to tax me for the memory... i think they might have an office in my state)

--ONE THING CLEAR: there's going to be a lot of memory returned(Maybe opened box items search?;))... the way i thought- everytime i go to BB after my Sunday morning routine, the ram sticks are always gone...now that was PC133 RAMS........ this time all them slick Mos that used to clean out BB aren't gonna know that it's going to be DDR( i would think at least they ain't gonna notice..they just will think it's just another PC133 deal)....This is the first time that BB has put DDR RAM on sale and Rebate....esp. Crucial RAM
