The Buslink CD-RW drive is a rebagged Lite-On with Burn-Proof that they renamed "SmartBurn". Looking aroung the web, it seems to be a highly regarded unit.

The TV stand looks pretty nice. On the front is a single glass cabinet door which has two shelves for dvd players, vcrs, etc. On the left and right are places where tapes, dvds, etc. can be stored. It's all black and is valued (by best buy) at $70

so you should wait until sunday to buy a tv to get the free stand

Just a minor heads-up--the Best Buy preferred customer coupons are out for this weekend...watch your mail if you get these. Dunno why they limit the 10% off to TVs $299 and up and the other crap isn't price-limited. I guess they really jack up the margins on the $300+ TVs and have razor-thin margins on the lesser ones so they can afford to let you take 10% off the expensive crap.

For anyone in Atlanta, if you're after the Nike 32mb mp3 player Best Buy on South Cobb Pkwy had a load of these, some on display, and some behind the counter - I picked one up to pricematch next week.
They also have the 12.99 with 12.99 rebate = 0 + tax memorex keyboards.
They also had one of the 40GB 5400 maxtors with the rebate behind the install/service desk - I think I found the last on the shop floor hidden on the shelves behind some other drives.

Yup. I can confirm that the 60gb WD HD has a $50 gift card by mail. Out-the-door price is $180 (not including $50 gc).

Nope. Has to be Dolby Digital though. Instant GC, not MIR.

Just buy any projection TV. Leather recliner, ottoman, and delivery (for recliner, ottoman, and TV) are free.

I have a ATI-TV Wonder which is working beautifully with my GF2MX400-64MB under Win2K. But if you are planning to run WinXP then don't put the two together coz THEY WON'T WORK! Hopefully ATI will release a new driver for XP.

I got the Mag Innovision last week when it was on sale for $199 with a $70 rebate.
Shelf tag indicated that it was a regular CRT, not flat at 0.25 dot pitch. Not bad for $129 +tax.
I got it home, and looked closer. It's a flat screen at 0.21.

It's sweet. It will be even sweeter when I get my Athlon XP system built and running. (Gotta brag ... everything, from mouse to monitor for my Athlon XP 1600 on the Asus A7V266 MoBo - just under $700. Now THAT is bargain shopping!)
