115 pictures from the Tsunami affected areas

check out ogrish if you wanna see what the real situation is. I was really taken back by some of them. I saw one picture with tons of bodies floating. It was strange too, all their asses were facing skyward.

I don't mind seeing dead people. But the kids are really sad. Especially the ones where a mom/dad is carrying the body 🙁🙁

Tsunami Image - Aftermath Image Of Beach [Accident, Tsunami] - Dec 29
Tsunami (tidal wave) aftermath image shows bodies on the beach in Phuket, Thailand..

it's the 8th link down

this is some disturbing stuff

*edit*

man you can view ogrish for a few minutes only before you start to feel sick. if you are weak of heart please dont go there

There was one picture of a huge wave about to hit at the beach with a guy standing there that gives you the sense of how high the crest of the wave was. Looked like about 20 ft.

Obviously the guy that took the pic at ground level managed to get to higher ground in time before it hit. Must have been at a fairly sturdy Hotel building and ran up the stairs.

Water & Fire , our friends and our enemies.

The photo of the 'wall of water' really shows that it really isn't a 'wave' like we all are familiar with. Rather, the tsunami is a sudden rise in the actual water level! that photo shows that the sea beyond the initial breaker is at the level of the top of the breaker. So what is happening really IS a 'wall of water'.
Very humbling images.

the craziest thing is that nobody had any reason to think it was coming. i can think of so many time i've been at the beach or some resort... just like all the people who died when the sea suddenly rose 20 feet. It looks like a lot of people were pulled out to sea and drowned in the rough surf. 🙁🙁🙁
