Bottled and filtered water tastes funny - like plastic. Besides, most bottled water just comes straight from city sources anyhoo.

Sometimes, but my tap water is actually well water. I usually put it through a Brita filter first. If I'm out and about, I usually pick up a bottle of Fiji water though.

tap water is more heavily regulated than bottled water. That means that the bottle water you are buying could actually be worse for you than tap water.

Yes. Portland, OR has the freshest and cleanest tap water of any large city in the world. It actually pours completely clear and tastes as good as any bottled water.

edit: the source is so pure, in fact, that they don't have to treat the water in any way. No chemicals, no chlorine, no flouride. They just filter it and send it out.
