I think you are confusing instinct with ignorance. As a human, it is in my brains best interest to form recognizable patterns, so I can make decisions quickly and without hesitation. Part of this process is recognizing other humans, an effective way to sum someone up is how they carry themselves. Hair style, clothes, jewelery, body language, music etc.. are all easily identifiable characteristics, and can be used to quickly judge someone and ensure you are making good decisions.
But something tells me you are more interested in the emotional/mass hysteria aspect of this, where everything and everyone in the known universe is a "racist" (heads up, we are all part of the human race, so you are actually using a self defeating argument when you claim that blacks are of a different race than whites). You seem like the type of person that likes drama, and that likes feeling self righteous. But then again, I am a known rudeguy bigot, so my opinions might be skewed.....
