If these 11 people had died from gun violence president obama would be on national TV talking about how we need to pass gun safety laws.

So where is the outrage from so many people drying in car wrecks?

The thing both wrecks have in common, a driver was speeding and driving on the wrong side of the road.

This is what I purpose:

Background checks for everyone who buys a vehicle.

Background checks for everyone who wants to buy gasoline.

Vehicles can only hold 5 people.

Only police need a vehicle that can go over 75 mph.

Strengthen laws on driving on the wrong side of the road.

Something has to be done about this senseless slaughter. If new laws can save one life, then it is worth it.

Sure why not, lets abolish the 2nd amendment to seal the deal?

Rather than debate the message you attack the messenger.

Typical liberal response.

Yep.

And though you obviously realize the analogy isn't PERFECT it still makes a good point, which is that the hysteria about guns is largely a function of what the media and politicians choose to target for focus and destruction. Other things could be targeted and sensationalized for desired panic in the same way.

They will avoid confronting the merits of your argument at all costs. They will focus exclusively and forcefully on whatever flaws it has, and on personal insults directed at you and anyone else who thinks remotely like you, instead.

The instinct to censorship and shouting down opposing ideas which has become absolutely central to liberalism is a big part of why I left it.

Debate?

Debate what? Imaginary situations and what if's?

There hasn't been much discussion on anything here. In fact, most "points" are just left field retorts that have little to do with whatever is brought up for discussion.

It's just far reaching bullshit. Like your post about vaccines. What if your doctor, what if your this, what if your.

Well,... so? What if means shit in reality.

Give me a situation (a law, a murder, a somethine) and debate the situation - not the imaginary threads and strings you've pulling out of you ass.

Man, I should just stick to making fun of and mocking you - you have NOTHING to discuss.

Censoring is never the goal of liberals - because if we censored stupidity, our comedians would have nothing to make fun of.
