$11 cheap 6 ch sound card with FREE shipping

The Chipset got great reviews from back in the day still used to this day on alot of newer mobos for thier sound. Would make a great upgrade from older onboard sound cards. Software that comes with it does alot of stuff including record streaming sounds. Meaning select what sound source you wanna record from and record the sounds from there. Great if you have a record or tape collection you want to reformat to mp3 and have it for ever on disk.

Link.

The $13 with free ship comes with a MP3 Program.

Man... I've had HUGE problems upgrading drivers with the onboard version of this chipset in the past. Maybe it's different with a separate card, I dunno.

you have this sound card?

My oldest has this card on his motherboard and my youngest when I upgraded got the soundcard that has this chipset but in the older 4ch version. I have never had any troubles at all with either of them and they sound really good. The software that is bundled with the card is very useful and comes with alot including a eax demo (atleast the Soyo driver I use comes with the demo).
for the price and its only $11 shipped I didnt think it was to bad considering I paid $20 for my old 4ch years ago.

Now before you all go crushing it because I said it sounded good YES you can buy a better card for more money but this is my personal experance with the CMI chipset sound card. I replace a old SB Life card because it kept giving me driver and game sound troubles. not once since owning a CMI chipset sound card have I had any troubles at all. Not a one.

Not bad. Not to mention, would this work to connect some of those old gameport MS Sidewinder gamepads to a modern PC? Is the gameport +5V or +3v? I've heard that it can have issues when not connected to a +5V gameport.

I had a old sidewinder joystick hooked up to it with no problems. but then I dont know what that card would have as far as it volts 🙁

seems as though you can remove voice and leave only music, to make your own karaoke cd's?
EDIT: think this is in 'Jukebox' playback only, not for manipulation of tracks, prior to burning.

What DSP effects are provided in WinRip?

You can use WinRip's Digital Signal Processor component to adjust the tone control to your liking, improve stereo imaging, and add an echo effect. The "Karaoke" effect removes the lead vocal from many songs, leaving room for you to sing along. WinRip also has a key-shift function, which makes the key (pitch) of the song higher or lower, without making the song play faster or slower. That way you can adjust the song to match your own vocal range, instead of the other way around.
