Well I added another GTX970 to up my daily production and getting another soon. Those 970's do pretty well for the price out the door.

Thanks for the stats Peter and have a good trip!

It wasn't easy to catch you! Well done!

I'll catch up sooner or later!

Hey, Y'all. My apologies to my TeAm-mates, I'm shutting down one of my 7950 cards, for a day or two. It's 59F out tonight, and with both GPUs crunching, it's way, way, too hot in here. I really don't want to run the A/C. (In Dec.? LOL!)

If you feel the need to turn something off, I'd suggest you try turning off all the CPU work first.

But I did hear the weather in the East has been crazy-warm. 😱 Here we have two inches of fresh snow outside.

Unusually warm her too, about 10-15C, nearly ~10c warmer than normal I think.

Like the cartoon shots 🙂.

Thx for the stats Petrus, & have a good trip away 🙂

Yeah..........about that. Uhm, I, uhm, bid on a few too many items on ebay, uhm, and well, won most of the bids. I haven't figured out yet how I'm going to place all these 'items', but....expect my ppd to increase, just a little, by week's end. From 1.5M ppd to, oh, 3M ppd perhaps.
Lol, bloody hell! 😎

Crunching problems?

Yes, had some hardware issues. Hopefully I have them resolved and will be coming back in the PPD dept.

Sorry for the lag.

No worries, thought you were going easy on me 😉
What you crunching on btw?

AMD Black 8350 stock clock
w/GTX 750ti might add another 750ti

MacBook Pro LOL

A couple servers when the work load is light.

I intended to have two more 750Tis join in but the system that was going to run them decided to take a dirt nap after I had it all setup. Time to redo the system but no time to get it all ordered and setup with the holidays etc.

Even amongst good PSUs they'll be a few bad ones, still a bummer though 🙁.

I've lost track of AMD CPUs these days, how does it's performance compare to Intel ones?
8 cores sounds good anyway 😎
What ppd do you get from it?

My TDP is 125w compare the ~85-90w for the closet Intel chip, so this is a computing through shear horsepower vs Intel more efficient design. I am also down ~10% depending on what I am running, but I got a great deal on it and the motherboard so it was a wash.

I am getting ~80-95k PPD with the single 750ti

The stats are as of December 16, 2015, 21:00 UTC.

The individual stats:

The day-to-day production after the restructuring of the teams:

Each racer's total production in order:

The TeAm's production graph:

After half the race we have produced 134.4 M points. Compare that to the total production in December 2014: 176.2 M. If we keep this up, we may end up producing more than 250 Million points in one month.

The slowest mine will fold at is 1392 lol, right now at 1502 & may try to bump a few notches.

My last 2 video cards, a 780 and a 780ti both at STOCK died in 6 months of 24/7 F@H. That was over $1000 gone, and still not a bad card today, so I am very leary about overclocking a $650 card.

The 780s run hotter but still should not die after 6 months. Did you RMA them?

They were both refurbs. I didn't read the fine print 90 day warranty.

I am SOL

BUT on the positive side, my AX1200 has a 7 year warranty ! And I could not find my receipt, but newegg knew about my 2010 purchase, and my RMA is approved and shipped off to them.

I have 2 other AX1200's, and used one to keep folding.(it was on one of my 24 core boxes that is turned off)
