I just bought a new netgear router WGT624. I tried the netgear pci wireless card and would not just work. I then bought a d-link boost card (wda-2320). I heard that other brands dont work with eachother. Well i was wondering, when i installed the card, it has been working at full speed (108mbps). Windows is telling me this. Is this accurate or should i return my netgear router for a dlink. I got the netgear router on clearance with a laptop card with the boost G. It works great and for only $50, i couldnt pass.

The D-Link and Netgear SuperG is the same chipset. Use it in good health.:cookie:

My understanding is they use chipsets from the same manufacturer (Atheros) as JackMDS has mentioned above.

Yep. I've owned a D-Link DI-624 and currently a Netgear WGT624. They both use Athereos' SuperG hardware, just each MFG implements things a little different. Shouldn't have any problems using D-Link with Netgear and vice versa. 🙂
