Yeah I was looking to buy the Bravia XBR2, but then I noticed there's an XBR3, and Sony doesn't display 1080p on XBOX 360. So now I'm looking at these:

If you guys can find cheap 1080p panels for me (any brand other than Sony) that would be awesome.

It doesn't have anything to do with Hot deals, yet I got the links from the hot deals forum. Anyhow, I was also pointing out some "hot deals"

Hehe. I want to get a 1080p, but I don't know if I should wait for more TVs to be 1080p, thus making more TVs cheaper.

Check out AVS Forum. They have all kinds of great info on all the different model TVs out there, you just have to dig in their forums a little bit.

The 'Hot Deals' section of AVS if for paid members only. Price talk on the other television sub-forums is discouraged. He can also become a member of AVS and then jump in on one of the linked deasl thru TV Authority.

If OP wants a B/M HOT DEAl on a 1080P set, he should visit CompUSA or Bust Buy. The
2006 Samsung 1080P DLPs are around 2000.00 for a 50 incher.

Stay with Costco for lcd needs! They have the best return policy!

I'm on the 22" Sceptre @1680x1050 good res/size ratio with a nice price $330

1920x1080 for a computer monitor i'd imagine that 37" sceptre would be great!
it's $1200 at costco.com shipped - I hope $999 will be a sale price for it soon!

Black friday really warped my sence of lcd pricing!

picked up the 22" westy for $199! but traded to a friend for her 32" costco sceptre that hasn't arrived yet! it's 1366 x 768 (but has ota and qam hd tuners!) 1 time good timing HOTDEAL!!

bec. of COSTCO's great policy i could trade them both in for that 37" 1080p

still really happy with this 22" sceptre as my only screen was planning on using
2 22's in DVI-D dual display o well 32" of AOE3Warcheifs will be here tuesday!

Happy Holidays!

I think he means Sony TVs are having trouble pushing 1080P through component cables of the Xbox 360, they flicker and won't display a picture. I'm sure when a HDMI connection comes out they will work fine. The Westinghouse displays 1080P through component cables from the 360 fine.
