It isn't trespassing if there is an open gate and it is a public field. And in our area (I would guess everywhere else), police cannot draw their guns unless there is a threat. They had them out coming through the gate.

Im sure cops just dont draw guns out all the time for fun, there was probably good reason for it. First of all you monkeys are throwin stuff off the roof, 2nd you coulda just jumped down off the roof and ran. You cant compare yourselfs to joggers since u were jumpin around on a roof.

I always love how the criminals say "it wasn't my fault." or "I didn't break the law". or "I'm allowed to vandalize"

:)

1) It was partly my fault of course.. if I wasn't there nothing would have happened.
2) I didn't break the law. That's a fact. No court in this area would convict me of any crime, knowing the facts.
3) I didn't vandalise. I'm not allowed to, and I didn't.

I love how some people exaggerate things in a failed attempt to create insults.

You were on the roof. Yeah, that is trespassing.

The roof of a small shack-like structure, on the edge, on a public field. Kiss my ass if you think that deserves having a gun pulled on you and b eing threatened with trespassing/burglary/vandalism charges.

So you were still on the roof, even if they didnt pull guns on you i bet you woulda made this thread. If i saw people on a roof the first thing i wouild thing is they are roofers, which is apparently not the case, then besides that their idiot kids who are prolly doing something stupid. Anyways, they have to treat every situation with care, if i was a cop id prolly have my gun out a lot knowing the kind of stupid things people do these days.

We weren't jumping on the roof. The chair was not thrown off the roof, it was thrown 10 feet after already laying on the field. I compare myself to joggers because they claim we are trespassing on the field when in fact there are other people on the same field.

I don't know what kind of a sh!t hole you live in then, no one but the inner city school cops have guns around here. Frankly, if they did have guns, and they did pull them on you and have it on your brothers back, I garuntee, 100%, that you are leaving something out of this story. And is the gate normally locked? Did it occur to you that the joggers are allowed to be in there? Maybe they are on a track team or something? If you normally have to climb the fence then you probably aren't supposed to be in there. And no matter what you say, you aren't allowed to be on that rough. You deserve it.

What you bet I "woulda" done is irrelevant. I agree they have to take care, but pointing your gun at every situation is dangerous. There has to be some reason for it.

The joggers aren't in high school. The gate is normally locked for me but I've heard of it being unlocked on a frequent basis. This wasn't during school hours, it was on a Sunday, so it isn't like they pulled a gun on me while I was at school.

1. Why were you there in the first place, there as in the roof...im sure there was a better way to do things.
2. You were tresspassing. Being somewhere you are obviously not supposed to be.
3.
Shortly before climbing the fence my brother threw an old folding chair he found about 10 ft. The chair was not damaged.
I think that speaks for itself.

Ok, so its open for joggers. Not kids who want to go throw around folding chairs and climb on roofs.

Ahh, but we do sir! See, you have the right to climb around like an idiot at school. And cops have the right to point a gun towards you if they feel they may be in danger. I'll even bet that cops in Cuba do the same thing.

Police follow a procedure in the apprehension of criminals. Your behaviour was, at least to the school police patrol, criminal. Therefore, why would you expect the police to act contra to their training?

You neither own nor control the facilities you visited. The citizens at large do.
The Police are there for the protection of persons and property against criminal acts.
Your own statement indicates trespass not on the field perhaps but on the adjacent building. Climbing the fence instead of using the available open gate is at least dangerous and the police need to protect you from you.
Your motives could be weighed by a jury against the available mitigating and incriminating evidence if you chose to persue that avenue if you had been arrested and charged with a crime.

Not today perhaps not tomorrow but, someday if you are a decent citizen you will look back on this and perhaps tell your kids or grand kids about the day you were stupid...

What are they going to do? Ask you if you were vandalizing stuff? Even if you were, you would just lie to them. Thus there is no point in even asking. YOU suck.

I would have drawn a gun on you too... What a fvcking ldiot. Your were throwing stuff and climbing on a roof if you said there was an open gate why didn't you go through the open gate. As far as the cop new you were climbing on property screwing around when you didn't need to be. Now when he found out that you had a bat and you were throwing chairs, then he felt that was a threat... hence guns drawn.

Ohh a chair lets throw it, throwing a chair that is not yours is vandalizing property. What would you have done if that chair had broke? Would you desperatly seek out the owner of that chair and offer to pay him for it? I highly doubt it, your mom doesn't give you that much allowance so start saving your lunch money.

GROW UP

I don't know about your story, but I do know and agree with you that cops are pigs. Have not met a decent cop in my life. I just think cops are no better than gang bangers which cops is also another form of organization to screw you over.

I know several who are fine people. I'm so sick of all of this anti-cop sentiment. Cops are just people, people doing a job. They have to deal with the lowest scum out there, wouldn't you expect them to be a little testy on the job? I'd like to see how long some of you would last in a world without cops.

You're the idiot. The 3 of you guys are walking around with a bat, and throwing junk around. Then you're on the roof for 5 mins or longer... what the hell did you expect to happen?

Cops are people too... They chose to join the force to keep the cities safe from the criminal. Your comments do not indicate that you are criminal... just unaware of the evil that befalls a city when the police are not there to protect the citizen from it.

Just like the military but, in an other forum.

First off the cops have the right to pull there weapon if they feel there is need, its hard for them to know who are and who are not carrying a concealed weapon regardless of your age, there have been plenty of cops that have been fired on by teenage kids.

I have spoken to several cops around my area, most will pull there weapon but only a few will have a round in the chamber.

I have never met a good cop. As far as I'm concerned, they're all a-holes.

You jumped a fence, walked on school property, climbed on a roof, threw a chair, and then were surprised when the cops were called? It seems YOU are the moron for not paying attention to the rules of the property you decided to enjoy yourselves on. Learn to obey the rules like the rest of society and you'll find that police officers are nothing more than people trying to do a job.

YOU are teh Suck!

Grow up you immature ass.

If you find an unlocked car and steal the $300 worth of CDs inside, is it really stealing? It was unlocked though!!

You're a freaking moron.
