I was born in '78 and I did have a nintendo. But I spent 95% of my time as a kid playing outside. Nintendo playing was done when we had sleep over parties on the weekend. We would stay up all night playing nintendo games.

I have scars in so many places from all the stupid sh*t I did as a kid.

Same here; born in 1979 and I spent WAY more time playing outside than kids do today. I've got my fair share of scars too 😀

sad part is i remember doing most of those.

when i was younger i could/would eat anything and everything and i was always skinny heck everyone i knew was skinny there was not very many fat kids around. i dont think we got cable tv until around 83' or so. I didnt watch it then and i still dont watch much tv now though I did have the latest console video game!


Now? heck it seems like almost every child is fat. My wife has 4 sisters and only one is skinny. But she is on the track team and does NOT like TV.

My wife also used to be a teacher. she was upset that most of the kids were fat and didnt want to go out and play. instead they would talk about what TV shows they watched or how far they got in a game.

heh i was born in '73. i always had the latest computer or video system.

But heck i was always out playing baseball or rideing my mini-bike. I went swimming with my wife's younger sisters (9-14) and they freaked out over that i have scars on me when i was younger. i may have gotten hurt but i always healed and had fun doing it!


come to think of it. i am amazed me or my friends didnt get killed over half the stuff we did.
