1030 Antec

Got my case today. I was "overwhelmed" with the construction quality and weight of the components used. "Were these things intended for combat field action?" I couln't be happier. Unquestionably the finest case I have owned and that include the overpriced LianLi now sitting beside it. Yes the LL is pretty but it pales in comparison in substance.

Yep. Great case. I have it. Do you have four fans? You should get four fans. A little noisy, but worth it. Note that this case has no side ventilation at all. All the air comes in from the front bezel and exits the back. A steady stream of fresh air is necessary for proper cooling.

My case temp never get more than 1C above room temp. Not too shabby. Good luck.

I had four fans, but the noise was overwhelming. Disconnected the front two, and the air circulation is still pretty good. I saw the Lian Li at the PC Expo, and those are some AWESOME cases. Not as sturdy as our heavy Antec tanks, but they are awesome in the opposite light. Antec = Hummer, Lian Li = flashy sports car. =D

Antec is pretty loud isn't it? I've been thinking about swapping out my CPU fan.

Well, I guess it's a bit on the noisy side. It's not unbearable though. It would be far less noisy with just two fans (one in one out), but that would negate the reason for getting a case w/great airflow properties. If I had the room, the case would be on the floor, on the other side of my computer desk. That would cut the noise down a bit. But, I really like this case. Plenty of room to work inside and I'll never outgrow it.

Ah, I can see my four SCSI drive RAID 0 array now....now all I need is about $1,200 to spend on those $$$ SCSI drives and an Adaptec controller card! GF3 first though.
