100pk Taiyo Yuden DVD-R $24

Supermediastore has a 100pk of 4x Ty DVD-Rs for only $24, shipping is $7 to me. I bought some a few weeks ago for $26 and they burn at 12x on my 3520A and work in every dvd player I've tried them in including a five year old Toshiba that doesn't play much else.

Roffles, I still have (cake) boxes and boxes of blank cd's. I guess I need to catch up and update my squirreling paradigm to dvd's. Sadly, I probably will! 😱 :laugh:

Katana, I'm not doubting your experience, but can someone else verifiy that these can burn at 12X?

Wired just had an article that said Taiyo Yuden are pretty much the best and this is the best deal on them I've seen.
Personally I've had better luck with my new NEC 16x with the -Rs (fuji +Rs would only burn at 4x despite 8x rating).

Just ordered a 100 pack. I'm using a BenQ 1004i 4x dvd burner and a NEC 3520a in the mail from New Egg. I will test these in both. Seems like a hot deal to me with no rebates to mess with.

Hmmmm...

I have the NEC 3520 and have been burning the 8X Fuji (TYs that I got from Best Buy the last time they were 39.99 for 100) +Rs at 16X every time and never a coaster...Wonder why yours will only burn them at 4X?
