Ritek/Ridata are excellent media for the price, usually produce very good qual burns but is also dependant on your burner.
The NEC 3520 is reknowned for making good qual burns also.

i knew ritek was good (i use them for cd-r), but didn't know ridata was the same company

shipping kills it though, $8, and i would go with the verbatim's but i don't want to bet on a $25 rebate, maybe i will though

The +R's are not as good as the -R's. I just bought a 100 pack from Amazon.com about 2 weeks ago and found that 90 of the discs had no disc info on them so when you place them into your drive, the drive says no disc inside. Usually when you look at the burning surface of the DVD disc you see that one track has some data on it. Well 90 of the +Rs I bought didn't. On top of that, the 10 +R disc that were okay could be only read by some drives. The 50 -R spindle I got from Amazon works great.

I would be careful with the +Rs. My $.02

Hope it helps,

KidViciou$,

Ritek is the manufacturer and Ridata is Ritek's housebrand. That means Ridata brand media are made by Ritek Corporation.
